What you would do
Learn to lay brick and block to trade standard on live housing sites, working with a qualified bricklayer from your first week.
Day to day
- Set out and build walls to drawings
- Mix mortar and keep the work area safe and tidy
- Look after tools and materials
- Attend college one day a week

Bricklayer (level 2)
Level 2 Bricklayer standard with Bolton College, day release.
Training provider: Bolton College
Working week
Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm, on site
What you need
- No formal qualifications required
- You must be 16 or over by the start date
- Reliable travel to sites across Greater Manchester
