What you would do

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who is looking to start a career in marketing. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across digital marketing, social media, content creation, lead generation and customer engagement.

Day to day

The successful candidate will help generate new business opportunities through marketing campaigns and will also support the sales team by following up leads generated from those activities.

Your duties will include:

  • Create, schedule, and manage content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X
  • Develop engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and LinkedIn
  • Capture photo and video content for use across social media and digital marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Produce marketing materials using Canva and other digital tools
  • Create website content, blogs, customer case studies and product promotions
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer communications
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance
  • Research target markets, potential customers and key decision makers
  • Build and maintain prospect databases
  • Follow up leads generated through marketing campaigns
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers to qualify opportunities
  • Generate appointments for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
  • Assist with networking events, exhibitions, and promotional activities
  • Support the development and promotion of the Kings brand
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for business growth

No previous marketing experience is required. We are looking for attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn rather than experience.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Active user of social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Enjoys creating content and keeping up with digital trends
  • Confident appearing in and creating video content
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and prospects over the phone
  • Creative thinker with a commercial mindset
  • Well organised and self-motivated
  • Looking to build a long-term career in marketing and business development

What you would study

Multi-channel marketer (level 3)

  • In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 3 Marketing qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures
  • Our training is all completed remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7 and will arrange weekly/fortnightly meetings with you
  • You receive off-the-job training during this apprenticeship, which is included in your weekly working hours.
  • Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard

Working week

Monday - Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm, with 30 minutes lunch break.
