What you would do
Business administration Apprentice, within customer service department. An excellent opportunity to start a career in logistics and customer service while supporting one of the UK's leading container haulage operations.
Day to day
Customer Service department :
- Act as a first point of contact for customers, operators and drivers
- Process export bookings and vessel checks
- Liaise with shipping lines and depots regarding container movements
- Manage shared mailboxes and customer portals
- Maintain accurate operational records
- Support transport operators and drivers with administration
- Carry out container checks and booking verification
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word to support operations
- Provide general administrative support to the operations team

Training provider: BASINGSTOKE ITEC LIMITED
Working week
Monday - Friday, 08.30 -17.30 with an unpaid 1 hour of lunch.
