What you would do

A career entry role to develop valuable multi trade building and specialist construction industry skills, working across a wide range of client's residential and commercial properties. Tasks will include brick work, joinery, plastering, dry lining and other maintenance and repair tasks.

Day to day

Reporting to the business owner your daily duties will include building and construction processes such as:

  • Brickwork
  • Plumbing
  • Tiling
  • Joinery
  • Plastering
  • Flooring
  • Guttering
  • Dry lining and skimming
  • Maintenance and repair tasks
  • Manage and record paperwork

What you would study

Property maintenance operative (level 2)

Apprenticeship Standard Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 including end point assessment over different vocational disciplines.

Attend Sheffield College Campus both City (S2 2RL) and Advanced Technology Centre (S2 3DH) for specific training over the duration of the programme.

Training provider: THE SHEFFIELD COLLEGE

Working week

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm 30 Mins unpaid lunch break. These times can change dependent upon the weather and specific working environments.
