Things to consider
You must be 18+ to apply for this vacancy, as it is a secondary school so you need to be older than the oldest students.
Working in a secondary school with students up to the age of 18 can present challenges. Students do not always make good decisions. It is critical that staff in schools act in a calm appropriate manner at all times, even when provoked by students. It is also critical that relationships with students remain professional at all times with a clear boundary between staff and students and that any safeguarding concerns are reported in the correct way without delay.
If we are interested in taking your application further, you will receive an email from a derby college email address (@derby-college.ac.uk).
Please make sure that you check your inbox as well as your spam/junk folders, so you do not miss out on the opportunity to apply.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy before the specified closing date should we receive sufficient applications. In order to avoid missing an opportunity to apply please submit your application as early as possible.
