Since the very early days lead by our founder Clifford Barlow, Barlows has grown into one of the UK's leading mechanical, electrical, fire and security service providers. Today we operate from our head office in Malpas, Cheshire alongside regional offices in Manchester, Leeds, London and Scotland, enabling us to deliver a comprehensive range of services to customers across the UK. In addition to our nationwide service operations, we continue to operate two high street appliance retail outlets in Whitchurch and Ellesmere, maintaining a strong connection to the communities where our business began.

Our company now employs more than 650 skilled professionals, supported by a fleet of over 550 vehicles, and generates an annual turnover more than £50 million. Our board of directors have over 300 years of combined service at Barlows.

We are proud that our commitment to excellence, training, sustainability and community engagement has been recognised through numerous industry awards and accolades including David Barlow MBE being issued an MBE for services to electrical training.
