What you would do
We are currently seeking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic individual who has their level 2 to join our team. This role involves working directly with children. As an apprentice, the individual will be gaining practical experience while also studying to achieve a formal qualification in early years education.
Day to day
As an Early Years Apprentice, the role is to support the learning, development and care of young children, typically aged from birth to 5 years. The primary goal is to develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours necessary to provide high-quality care and education to the children in our nursery.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Providing care to the children; feeding, nappy changing & toileting
- Liaising with parents, family members and carers
- Planning and preparing activities
- Supporting and guidance for the children to learn and develop
- Safeguarding children at all times
- Keeping records up to date
What you would study
Early years educator (level 3)
- Apprenticeship details - 19 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship. (All learning is delivered online/remote)
- Training Provider: LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider)
- Training will include paediatric first aid qualification
Other training
No college or classroom days, 20% off-the-job training.
Training provider: LET ME PLAY LIMITED
Working week
Monday - Friday (7.00am - 4.00pm, 8.00am - 5.00pm, 9.00am - 6.00pm).
