What you would do

Beagle Orthopaedic Ltd in Blackburn are recruiting for an Apprentice CNC Production Operative to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship, over the duration of 15 months.

Day to day

  • Operating and setting of 4 axis digital cutting machine (Zund G3 L-2500) in order to cut profiles and components for production
  • Operation and setting of a 1 axis C02 of CNC laser cutter order to cut components for production
  • Operation of CNC sewing machine in actual manufacture of the the products.
  • This includes routine preventative maintenance, housekeeping, selecting appropriate blades and modules for materials
  • Handling, selecting and processing of raw materials
  • Preparing works orders kitting for other members of the team and transporting replenishment trolleys to their designated locations within the department.

Working week

Monday - Thursday, 7.00am - 4.45pm. 2 x 30 mins paid breaks. 30 mins unpaid lunch.
