Your responsibilities will include:

  • Social media and content
  • Create engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters and email campaigns.
  • Help plan and publish social media posts, including Reels, Stories and short-form videos; spotting interesting stories, people and conversations that could become engaging social media content.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes footage and turn it into content that brings our brands to life.
  • Help grow our online communities and the EduScape app.
  • Campaigns and digital marketing
  • Support marketing campaigns across our brands, conferences, festivals and awards.
  • Help create marketing materials using tools such as Canva.
  • Assist with website updates, email marketing and digital communications.
  • Research trends, experiment with new content formats and suggest creative ways to reach new audiences.
  • Events and experiences
  • Support the promotion of our conferences, festivals and awards.
  • Attend events to capture content, engage with audiences and bring our brands to life.
  • Help with event branding, signage and marketing activity before, during and after events.
  • Learning, ideas and improvement
  • Monitor engagement and campaign performance, using results to improve future content.
  • Work with colleagues and external partners to deliver marketing projects.
  • Explore new tools and technologies, including AI, to support responsible and effective marketing.
  • Help organise our photography, video and digital marketing assets.

You’ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility as your confidence and skills develop. We’ll support you in learning the role, but we’ll also encourage you to contribute ideas, ask questions and take ownership of your work.

About EducationScape Limited

EducationScape is an independent media and events business working at the heart of the education sector.

We’re home to established brands including Schools Week, FE Week, the Festival of Education and the Apprenticeships & Training Conference, alongside awards, professional development and digital communities.

Through our publications and events, we connect education professionals, share ideas and create opportunities for people across the sector to learn, collaborate and make a difference.

We’re a small, ambitious team with a broad range of responsibilities and a shared commitment to producing high-quality work. That means there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved, learn from colleagues and see the impact of what you do.

We’re now building our marketing team, making this an exciting time to join us. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute fresh ideas, help shape how we work and gain experience across a diverse portfolio of brands, digital platforms and live events.

If you’re looking for a place where you can learn, contribute and grow, we’d love you to be part of our next chapter.

Things to consider

You’ll need to be comfortable working in a varied role, collaborating with colleagues and communicating with people at different levels of an organisation.

The role involves attending events across the UK, with potential for occasional international travel. Some events may require early starts, late finishes or overnight stays.

You’ll also need to be willing to undertake the required off-the-job apprenticeship training alongside your normal duties.

We’re interested in what you can bring to the role, not just what you’ve done before. If you have a personal project, social media account, college assignment or creative idea you’re proud of, we’d love to hear about it.
