What you would do
As an Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced Maintenance Engineer to learn the skills required to maintain and improve the equipment and infrastructure that keeps our multi temperature logistics operation running efficiently. You will develop practical engineering knowledge in a supportive environment.
Day to day
- Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes across warehouse and production equipment including tape machines, conveyors and other operational machinery
- Carry out routine inspections to identify wear, damage or potential failures before they become an operational issue
- Support engineers with mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications and improvements.
- Ensure engineering tools, workshops and spare parts are maintained in a clean and organised manner

Training provider: HEART OF WORCESTERSHIRE COLLEGE
Working week
Monday to Friday - 7 hours per day with 1 hour lunch break exact start and finish times to be discussed with the applicant.
